There is a plastic cover in the box when open the package. There are Black, White, Green and Pink 4 colors available for PaMu Slide Mini, and mine is in Black color. There is a tough black box inside with silver letters of “PaMu Slide Mini”. When opened, there is also a silver embedded graphic description. The color of the entire box is low-key and elegant.
The outer box of the earphone adopts a gift type layered packaging design.The earphone and charging box are placed on the first layer. The second layer is a leather storage bag, a Type-C USB charging cable, an instruction manual, and 5 different sizes of silicone ear tips.The storage is big enough to put the charging case and earphones inside, it’s very practical. The manual is equipped with multiple language versions, which are detailed and easy to understand.
The earphones itself is looks very lovely, made in matte plastic material with a smooth touch. Because my ear canal is very small, I usually can’t wear in-ear headphones. But this time, I finally can wear them with the smallest eartips. But the earphones are a bit bulky and heavy,so my ears get hurts when I worn it for a long time.
The connection method only requires manual pairing for the first time, and it automatically reconnects when used again, and the signal is very stable after the connection, no intermittent issue. However, the connection speed is fast in sometime and slow the others, so that I need to connect it manually. And it’s unintelligible that you need to put them back into the charging case if you want to turn them off.
The pamu slide mini bluetooth 5.0 headphones is operation by touch control, control by one touch, double-touch and long pressing. And the commands of left and right ear is different, it takes time to get familiar with the functions, but it is generally easy to learn and much more comfortable than the button type. The disadvantage is that it is easy to touch by mistake and the sensitivity and accuracy are still slightly inferior compared with AirPods. The headset supports IPX6 waterproof, so you don’t need to worry about the rains when you wear it during sports.
The right side of the charging box is a smooth ellipse. There are two obvious arcs on the left side for users to distinguish between the front and back. There is a small groove on the front to open the box. A row of 4 LED lights display the remain of battery capacity, very intuitively to understand. And there is a Type-c charging ports on the back. The charging box is compact and portable and also supports wireless charging.
The red LED indicator lights up, when place the headset in the charging box, it means it’s charging now.This headset has superb battery life. I use it for a long time every day, even I didn’t put it back in the charging box, but I still can use it for 4 or 5 days without one charging.
Next to the sound quality of the PaMu Slide Mini. I think the sound quality is really good at the price of $69. The high, middle and low tri-frequency sound lines are superior, the bass is deep, the midrange is thick, the treble is clear, the sound of the two microphones is clear, and there is no need to increase the volume intentionally when calling. There is no out-of-sync of audio and video, if only used for daily calls, listening to music, and watching videos. And the physical feeling is not much different from AirPods. The drop-shaped silicone eartips are more fitted to the ear canal, and the noise reduction function is greatly improved, which indeed achieves the official noise reduction effect.
